Bottle bought at de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a deep golden color with a large white foamy head and lots of bubbles. The aroma has tones of fruits, citrus like and spices. Also a little yeast is noticable. In the taste malty flavours with nuts and spices (cloves, coriander), a little sweetness from the cane sugar and some oranges. The finish is warming, a little alcoholic and also has a light bitterness. Not bad for a tripel, but I know better ones.

Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. geruch sehr fruchtig malzig, würzig, hefig. Der Geschmack ist gleich wie der Geruch.

Decent tripel. Fruity, grainy and very yeasty. One of the first more special beers I ever had.

Kinz (3361) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - APR 13, 2014
2009 bottle. Poured a clear gold with slight fizzy head for the first glass - but the second let the chunks loose in a mighty splash of nasty. Aroma of honey malt, baked orange marmalade. Flavor is slightly sweet malt, and some papery oxidation - virtually nothing else left. Past its peak, too bad. Too bad, need to try a fresh bottle - this obviously didn’t age well.

couleur jaune, beau col de mousse blanche. Nez tres leger de malt et epices. Gout malté a forte teneur de levure et alcool. Peu de carbonation, corps huileux. Fin de bouche amère et alcool. Pas la meilleur des triple belges

Bottle from the brewery. Crystal clear gold pour with white head. Aroma is quite grainy, lots of lemony notes, belgian yeast. Taste is grainy, slightly metallic, fruity alcohol notes, quite boozy actually. Palate is medium bodied, good carbonation, a bit hot.

Bottle shared. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, herbs and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Clear light copper yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is barley, some yeast, some floral notes. Taste initially is bit sweet, bit carbonated. Little bitter, some floral. Triple? (Velp 201402)

A decent if not overly interesting triple. Pours an ugly yellow with a thick bubbly white head. Smells like berries and wheat. Taste is classic Belgian, but with a more pale ale taste then tripel. Slightly bitter finish. Had in the bottle in Port Costa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark amber liquid, with sediment present. Large head, quite long lasting. Aroma is fruity and yeasty. Medium body and carbonation. Oily mouthfeel, bitter finish; alcohol is notablely masked. Taste is yeasty, sweet, spicy; lacks complexity.
