Exquisitely champagnoise-style elevated lambiek, yet in all elevational processes there is a risk of degeneration...No head, delicate mousse. Gentle sourness, young rustic funk turned into perfectly attenuated lambic dryness. Some green apple, hints of rhubarb, gooseberry. Great aperitif and palate cleanser, rather impressionist beer. Worth shelling out 8x50cent tokens for a full taster, but I will leave the full €20 bottle to the targeted "upper gastronomic segment".

Woodshed 2.0. Bottle share courtesy of nbutler11. It pours with a clear gold body that supports a full semi loose near white head of foam. The aroma offers up tartness, sourness, tart cherry, earthy citrus and some yeasty spiciness. The taste has similar notes where I’m getting tartness, raspberry skin tartness and sour green apples and an acidic sense. Behind those notes is a mild degree of yeastiness. Pretty darn tart for my taste.

Bottle thanks to Dark Guardian. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Lemon zest and barnyard aromas. Wow. Tart and acidic with heavy lemon zest notes. Dry with champaign characteristics and sour funk like back beats. Nice mouthfeel and balance.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a lightly unclear, orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Citric, barnyard aroma with some faint sugary hints. Not that it feels sugary in any way. Quite effervescent on the palate, dry and medium bodied. Citruspeel, barnyard and leather, sugar hints. Pleasant finish, and overall, a really nice and tasteful beer. 130504

Bottle shared by nbutler11 @ Woodshed 2.0! 10 karat pour with a small ivory crown that leaves quickly. Barnyard funk, esters, lemon zest, grapefruit pith, earthiness with some fresh cut grass. Tart, sour, but not brutal.

Bottle, 03/07/2013, thanks to Jeffo. Pours light straw gold, clear, huge foamy head fades quickly, champagne bubble geysers. Aroma of lemons, not overly tart, damp cereal grains with nice barnyard character, very earthy. Taste is again sour cereal malts, mild citrus mostly lemon, crumbly cheddar, white grapes and funk. Light spritzy body as could be imagined. Not bad, but somehow a bit muted overall in terms of clear character.

ThirstyBird (429) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2013
Tasted at the RBBWG 2013 - thanks Dylan! Pours a hazy light yellow/orange with a small white head. Smell is mild sour, citrus. Taste is tart and sour then some mild sweetness with an artificial sweetener taste, ends mildly dry and tart. Very light body with very active carbonation. This one smelled quite good but I didn’t care for the 5taste so much.
