Nice orange pour with a big white head. Really balanced aroma to this. Some vinous notes, grass and earthy funk, some mild must, tons of yeast, and a good green apple tartness. The flavor is quite dry and yeasty. Tons of must, some grass, a bit of oak, and lactic sourness. Very well done beer.

Bottle shared at a sour tasting at Noam’s office. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of oak, leather, fruitiness, funk, sulphur. Sourish flavor with malt, oak, some funk, fruitiness, and a bitter herbal finish. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation. Rather mild for a Lambic.

Hazy orange with white head. Huge funk and lemon. Tart, lemon and sour finish. Overall: absolutely incredible.

750ml corked and caged bottle pours a golden color with a massive white bubbly head that settles fairly quickly and leaves only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon with some yeasty notes. Taste is a bold lemon tartness with a light malty sweetness and a dry wine finish. Medium bodied with generous carbonation that bites the tongue. Overall, a very lively ale that is like a sour dry champagne.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium frothy white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is strong funk, rubber, feet. Medium mouth, tart fruit, funk, crisp, easy to drink, very nice.

Bottle. 8.0%. Best before 2018. 10 cl. sample. Pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow, with a diminishing white head. Mildly sour aroma, with a bit of horse blanket. Has a sort of stale feel to it. Mildly sour flavour, feels a bit watery. Dry finish wit ha tart bitterness and a sweet note. Overall, I don’t really know what to make of it; it’s not bad, but kind of weird. 01.05.15.

VBC 2015. Almost clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of sour milk, dry, weak red berries and no sweets. A flavor of sour milk, Oak, dry wine and no sweets.

Bottle share at VBC. Clear pale yellow with a quickly fading head. Funky aroma, but not as funky as many lambics. Very highly carbonated. Very fruity flavour, blueberry?

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle corked and capped. Aroma is tart, light body, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is slightly tart, some wood, some bitterness, and dry finish. Doesn’t do it for me.

Poured from a $65 bottle. Can’t believe I spent that much on a beer. It’s the principal of the thing. Fruity aroma, tart taste, really does taste like champagne. Worth at least $35.
