4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Ruby red colour, light pink head. Aroma of vanilla, chreery, quite fruity, bit of funk. Somewhat sweet flavour, sour, lactic acid, cherry, fruit sour and vanilla. Lots of carbo, more balanced carbo than the kriekenlambic though. Finish cherry, fruit, raisins and dates. Great beer!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very big light white pink ish airy foamy head on top of a clear dark rose/pink colored beer.
Aromas of wood, cherry, wild yeast, vanilla. Lovely!
Flavour is delicious sour, cherries, wood, older hops, sour, light sweet, wilder yeast, delicious another beer I am just really enjoying. This is even better than the Kriekenlambiek.
Aftertaste is lots of cherry and sourness with a yeasty tones and light dry.
Low to medium carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a creamy texture. Lovely! Lovely!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
bright red, thin white ring after huge overcarbonated head. Heavy cherry citrus nose, light clay and arsenic hints. Papery water flavor, pithy with earth through rhubarb pie finish. Sticky, distractingly high carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
1.5L bottle shared by Travlr. Thanks Gene!
The beer is ruby red with a big head even after a gentle pour. Lots of bubbles. Aroma of authentic Belgian kriek. Sour cherries, oak, funk. All about the cherries here. Easy drinking. Fizzy on the palate with more carbonation than is customary for this style. Due to the large bottle, I was able to go back for a few pours of this. A really solid beer. Not my favorite kriek by any means, but certainly genuine and solid. Definitely worth trying.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Travlr: pours an effervescent bright ruby with a large froth of pink head. Has a fresh fruity cherry nose with some light funk and vinous oak. Starts with good carbonation and smooth light malty sweetness with some sweet fruity notes and oaky complexity before a drier puckering finish. True to style and enjoyable.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the source during Tour de Geuze 2013, number 17 of 240, shared at GT2’s going-away tasting. Huge pop, but not a gusher. Beautiful clear ruby red and royal purple color, massive pink head that settles slowly, solid lacing. Aroma of slightly sour and dusty cherries, subtle citrus. Taste is slightly sharp, sour berries and dark fruit. Very high carbonation is really the only detractor, and even that is slight.
