3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle poured into a snifter. I drank this one right after the Geuze and Kriek.
A - Pours murky pink with a nice one finger tall pink head leaving very little lace down the glass. Not as bubbly as the kriek but close.
S - Smells of dulled raspberry puree, musty funk, light lactic sourness, wet oak, and some definite buttery notes that I am sure aren’t supposed to be there...
T - Starts off with a nice dose of dank funk quickly giving way to some light raspberry sweetness, drying oak tannins, and very dull lactic sourness. The finish is dry with some lingering sweetness. I don’t get a lot of the buttery notes I detected in the nose but this one is still a bit of a letdown.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderately high carbonation. This one isn’t as carbonated as the kriek but it is still a little bit too much.
O - This was the worst of the three. The fruit was really only present in the taste and even there it was a bit dull. Add to that the disappointing nose and this one really isn’t on par with its counterparts.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours deep, clear ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma has both sour and unripe raspberries, as well as sweeter, more ripe ones. Smells very juicy, and besides a slight tartness, raspberries are the only prominent aroma to find. Taste has a great balance between the sour and sweet, and becomes the most sessionable of lambics that i have ever tasted. Very juicy raspberries, but still with that classic dryness to it. All this being said, it’s not crazy flavorfull. High carbonation and low, dry body. Higly recommendable for new lambic drinkers, that don’t want it too sweet either!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20

Bottle 375 ml. Pours pinkish red with almost no lacing. Aroma and taste are fruity but I did not detect specific notes of rasberries. Loved the acidity of this one. Just enough sweetness. Refreshing and highly drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2014 Bottle. Pours nice deep red with small light pink head, sparkling! Aroma is young unripe raspberries. Taste is more sweet and ripe raspberries and really smooth and fizzy mouth. Good, but not worth the money.

Draft at Gollem in Antwerp with Kimberly and Taylor. Pours nice dark ruby red with lacing. Aroma is off plastic note, some jammy raspberry, but off. Taste is flat raspberries, some sweetness, off plastic not is still there, kind of oily and slick.

One of the best framboise beer I’ve had. You can easily smell and taste the fruit. Dry, but just enough to be easily drinkable. light to medium sourness. Soft carb. Will definitely buy again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler fill from Aw Shucks. Frankly, horribly disappointed, as I was expecting a sour bomb, and instead got a sugar shot. Pours clear ruby red, not really any head. Aroma was pleasant enough, raspberry jelly. Flavor was a match. Sort of middle of the road raspberry jam. Almost a bit cooked in nature. Nothing else. To quote my wife as she brought back her half un-finished glass into the kitchen, "what happened to the funk?"
