COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Framboise is a classic among the Belgian beers created by adding whole fresh raspberries (250 g/l)to a blend of young and old lambic. Framboise Oud Beersel is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses.

Semi clear red pink in color with an okay thin head. Smells like raspberries and that is all. Tastes like rapberries and nothing else. It just tastes like raspberries - nothing that great.

Papsoes mystery blindtasting beer #3. Pours murky brown, everyone else had a clear and golden orange. Raspberry aroma, dry and fruity and with a mild earthy touch. Flavour is sweet with a light wooden note and a mild earthy touch. Light acidic touch into the finish.

Ruby colored. Can taste the rasberry. Sweet with a slight bitter flavor. It has a dry finish and kind of a woody quality.

From tytoanderso, I never actually had this before. It pours with a dark dark pink, almost reddish color. It has a small head that turns into a thin halo lacing. The aroma is all raspberry, very strong, pretty sweet, and kind of natural. Its got that raspberry sourness but I do not get any wild yeast sourness. Its still nice of course. Taste is still pretty sweet with light oakiness and some of that natural raspberry sourness. Oak is felt most in the aftertaste. I like it, its not ultra impressive, a bit better than the Girardin Framboise, decent stuff. No sediment, completely filtered (I am guessing pasteurized as well since the sweetness is not being gobbled up by the wild yeast.

Bottle. Aroma of tart raspberry. Hazy reddish amber color with a decent off-white head. Near medium body with coarse, mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly lactic with raspberries. A bit astringent in a woody way. A little sweet, but more sour. Gentle though. Smooth and tasty.
