Bottle - tasted blind. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has very strong notes of raspberries as well as hints of nuts. The flavor is very sweet - somewhat artificial, with notes of almonds and raspberries and hints of acidity from the berries, leading to a dry alcoholic and bitter finish. But inspite of the alcohol presence the body is medium. Thanks to Papsoe.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle thanks to gueuze_is_god. Lovely pink/garnet pour with thin white head. Tart raspberry aroma with some lactic notes. Hints of raspberry seeds and a little must. Tingly on the palate. Tasty.

Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Clear, dark pink pour. Sweet, soft aroma of raspberries similar to raspberry yogurt. Similar flavor with much more tartness as well as some earthy notes.

Aug 9, 2008 On tap @ Toronado, pours deep pink with a halo of a white head. The nose is completely raspberries, as is the flavor. A bit of a creamy mouthfeel.

Aug 9, 2008 Draft at Toronado 21st Anniv. Deep ruby red pour with nice white film on top. Aroma is seedy raspberries; authentic seeming but not super fresh or pungeant. Flavor is the same, seedy raspberries, a little dulled, thick mouthfeel and overall sweet. Maybe some rich caramel underneath and the seedy earthy parts somewhat balance the sweetness.
