Fuzzy yellow in color. Smell is sour and funky and not my "thing". Flavor is much more mild and bland than I expected it to be. It has some sourness to it and some funk but it is very underplayed. bb (1902), Martinez, California, USA May 1, 2008 Bottle. AMber beer with a nice off-white head. Tart, earthy, malty aroma. Tart, sweet malt, earthy, dusty flavor. Medium body. Lingering dusty, earthy, lemony tartness. More dust than I remember which got in the way of other flavors. Geuzelambix (23), København, Denmark Apr 24, 2008 Nice geuze but not the best out there, The aroma is a tad too much "stomach" acidic - a common flaw with subpar geuzes. It is however still a "true" geuze and not som mainstream nothing. Interesting to try. fishingnet (557), Brandon, Florida, USA Apr 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large long lasting white head that leave good lacing. Aroma of tart green apples and citrus with just a hint of wild yeast funk. Taste is tart lemons and green apples. Medium to medium thin mouthfeel with a moderate amount of acidity and very mild spicy yeast finish. Very good. nomad (9), manchester, England does not count Apr 19, 2008 Yes yes, this is more like it! Dirty gold with vertical columns of aggressive bubbles and a white collar that lasts all the way down. Aroma is a bombshell of grapefruit, lemon, sulphur and seawater that sends the nostrils into overload. Taste sends your palate all ways. Grapefruit winey sherbet seaweed lovebomb. Long and sour with stabs of wild woody yeast. Woof Woof....
