3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Yellow clear liquid, kinda small white head. Aroma reminds me of apple cider, sour apple maybe some lemon, slightly yeasty. Very dry taste, sour apples again. High carbonation.
Iíve tried sour ales before but this was the first gueuze ever for me. Canít say that iím a big fan of sour beer but this was decent, i enjoyed it.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared at the BFD Christmas Party.
Oddly skunky aroma with a tart bite to it.
Tart with a honey malt sweetness.
Not sure how this bottle was handled but as is its meh at best.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at De Groote Witte Arend, Antwerp. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy long-lasting white head. The aroma is super smooth sour, acid and wet horse blanket! The flavour is medium sour with smooth acidic citrus grapefruit palate. A well balanced beer that was nice and easy to drink. Many sours tend to have dominating features that are not so appealing to every drinker but this beer will go down with most people I feel.

Bottle at Grote Witte Arend. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma is funky, horse blanket, barnyard, tart fruits, apples. Flavour is moderate to heavy sour, a nice soft tart fruitiness thatís not too extreme. Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

Pours light golden ale with a solid quilt of light white foam. Nose comes out with plenty of funk, hay, manure, horse hair, lemons, carbon dioxide (more a sensation than flavor), hints of pepper and lactic acid. Nice and tart with a degree of brett that is a little over powering for me with a chalky and bicarbonate addition. There is a bit of hay and soil with a lemon zest and acetic and lactic acids. Iím surprised how subdued the sour is in this one. Thin bodied with hi carb and dry finish - standard. This is not a great gueuze for me. Not tart enough and a little too much brett. I will likely buy a few more bottles at some point for aging, but only to see where it goes, I donít get the feeling this beer is going to be more sour.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours hazy amber, big head. Nose is barnyard, moderate acidity, apples. Flavour is hay, brett, apple cider. Finish has light acidity, not t strong. Accidentally left half the bottle out overnight, drank the rest the next evening at room temp, and it was even better. Lambic is somethiní else.
