Aromas of cherry and some brett character. Some sourness though certainly no where near the sourness of other krieks tasted. Over all the aromas are a little subdued. Taste is much the same. Some sour cherry and a little vinegar sourness. Minimal Brett character. Finish is quite dry. A great beer though not at the same level as others tasted tonight. TheBeerOrg (1637), Kentucky, USA

Has a little hazy deep red pour with a large white and pink bubbled head that lowers to a thick one finger or more high cover, very effervescence, bottom of the bottle had a layer of dark sediment, left some lacing on the glass that rolls off with each drink,
aromas of lambic citrus-earthy-wild field with Cherry and raspberry scents,
flavors of tart, sour cherry, Lambic acidic and wheat essences, finish is very dry and mouth puckering,
light on the palate with generous carbonation,
if ever a beer looked like a dessert, this was it, the large pink head and beautiful red body put on a good show.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 14, 2010 Blood- garnet pour with a pillowy pink frothy head. The aroma is riddled with sour cherries, acidic citrus, funk, oak, and earthy farm. Subtle but quite pleasing. The flavor is sharply acidic with huge cherry notes and gratuitous funk. A tart kick in the beginning soon mellows out to reveal the sweeter side of the fruit arrangement, also letting in notes of oak and apple cider. Fermented apple, pear, and bubblegum are also noticeable for me. The mouthfeel is medium in its fullness for the style, while the body is lively and quite effervescent. The finish is woody and very dry, leaving a smacking sensation in its wake. I could drink this all the time if given the chance. vtafro (639), , New Jersey, USA

Funky aroma and cherry pits. Flavor doesn’t like up to aroma, slight cherry, texture was a little thin for me. j12601 (1501), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 7, 2010 Bottle. Pours a gorgeous lightly hazed garnet with a huge magenta pink head. Nice barnyard funk with dusty cherry pie aromas. Flavor doesn’t quite live up to the nose, lacking a little of the depth, but still offering some nice cheesy funk. Light sweetness, and very subtle cherry on the back end of the finish. Tasty. Tranquillity (1193), Espoo, Finland
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Raspberry-orange aroma. Thick blood-grapefruit pink head, quite clear red-pink body. Taste wonderful. Thick, sour but with a sweet dimension, perfectly balanced of both cherry, orange and raspberries. Love it! mcmd (155), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Cork opened with a good pop - poured into snifter a cloudy pink with light brown hue and small white/pink head. Aroma is dominated by cherries but also has an interesting grassy and floral quality, yeast present as well. Taste is a quick sweet cherry then turns to extremely tart cherries with yeast and a floral/earthy quality in the finish...probably one of the sourest beers I’ve ever had and I love it. Mouthfeel is crisp and light with good carbonation. Close to a champagne. My favorite lambic so far.
