Nice frothy baby pink head. Aroma is a well balanced combination of sweet and sour. A spoonful of sugar mixed with dried cherries, a dash of vinegar, some citrus, a range of other souring agents, sweaty horse-blanket, a slight hint of mint, and a far away touch of caraway seed. Upfront flavors of mixed dried red fruits and a dash of malt. The malt falls off quickly but the dried cherries and other dried red berries/fruits ride a sour wave that seems to cover all the different forms of acid sourness. That brings you into old wood with a faint touch of tobacco. Long finish with wood, tart sour cherries, and a touch of tea leaves. beerheart (237), Erie, Colorado, USA

The pink-purple froth bunched in the middle, then spread out to form a pink marshmallow head with a lace that clings to the sides of the goblet. The aroma makes clear that this is not some cough syrup. It smells pungent and vinegary, like a lambic should. It is malty and sour on the palate, but also sweet with very delicate cherry highlights. Dry, crisp, and tart. This is an excellent beer! faroeviking (6023), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands

Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a nice sourness with a soft swetness, cherries and a dry sour fruity finish. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Pours a foggy reddish hue. No head. Nose is antiseptic and funky like I want the lambics to be. Ahhhh. Pure heaven. It’s been too long since I have had a lambic. Oh how I have missed thee, my love. Mildly sour, but not overpowering. The fruit tones caress the tongue. Beautiful earthy tones. Feel is very, very smooth. Fairly full carbonation and the liquid is well bodied. Like I said. It’s been some time since I have had a lambic. Now I remember why I love them so much. (actually...I never really forgot...how could I have?) KimJohansen (6916), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Warm lightly hazed red with a nice white head. Brilliantly sour nose. Striking almonds with a subdued cherry. Light and slightly fizzy with small bubbles. wickedly sour without the socks! Rather yeasty. Very lambic. Hit of cherry. Acid! Balanced wheatiness reigns in some of the crazier aspects, sort of. Small almond. Perhaps the beer of the night? 17thfloor (1452), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Updated: Jun 5, 2008 Oraque dark ruby with a fine purple head. Strong yeast aroma, smells like chlorine actually. Not tons of taste here. The yeast is put out by the cherries and the cherries arent that strong. Little bite of sweet and sour at first but disappears quickley after each sip. Light palate, seems less dense than water even, loads of carbonation. The flavors are quality, and I understand how delicate they are, just wish a little more prevalent.
