Bottled sample. Dark pink in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of sour cherry, lemon, and barnyard. More cherry and citrus in the mouth, along with more funk and a somewhat muddy (in a good way) note. Fairly acidic, with a lively and complex mouthfeel. Refreshing and well made.

375ml Bottle: Aroma of very tart fruit, acetic acid, slight funk, and wood. Poured purple/magenta/ruby in color with a tiny white head that lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Tart flavor. Tastes of tart fruit, cherries, average to funk and slight wood. Light to medium body. Tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Tart, cherry, funk, and acid finish is slightly sticky.

[Bottle] Pours a rosy gold with a smallish white head. Aroma is super funky and not much cherry. Flavor is dry, gravelly, mouthwatering, and the fruit is basically gone.

Bottled, BB 10/6/2024. Poured rich garnet with a large, creamy cap of pinkish-beige head. The aroma picked up tart cherries, funky barn-like notes, and a bit of lemon zest over a touch of earthy and pale malt sweetness. The flavor picked up tart and dry cherries with wheaty and leathery backing.. bitter and quite tart. Medium-bodied and increasingly tart as it warmed up.. funky with cherries right at the end.. fairly well-balanced.
