Hazy red with pink frothy head that died down but never completely disappeared. Fizzy, tart, slightly sour, dryish, acidic. Decent cherry but too carbonated for me. BB date of 12-2022,huh!? This may improve with age but I’m not waiting 10-15 years to find out.

Cherry stones, barnyard, rotty fruit, acid, bandaids, amazing! Red with pink head. Incredible sweet cherries with dry yet not tart sour finish. Smooth medium/dry. At the base of my notes it says "fucking shit this is a top beer" underlined several times

Nice cherry nose. Acidic, with cherry skins and sweet-sour cherry pie. Light astringency. Cranberry, blood red color, slightly hazy, with foamy lacing pink head. Medium-heavy watery body with medium-high carboation. Tart cherry start, high acidity but very smooth. Tart lactic tang, wheaty gueuze graininess. Finish is astringent and cherry bitter. After is mild sweet-tart and dry. Nice kriek.

Aroma is musty and tart, not bad. Flavor? Big time tart and dry. Gallons of cherry in there, probably too much. I don’t know, I guess I’m just not a lambic fan

From the bottle this brew pours a deep cherry red with a tall fluffy pink head that leaves a quick silky lacing on the glass as its swirled. This brew gives off a delicious tart cherry aroma. First taste reveals a rush of tart cherry flavor with a warmth going down and only a moderate sourness. This beer finishes dry and sweet. My bottle wasn’t over carbonated as some have been, pouring straight down into the glass left a perfect head. The carbonation had a nice fizz to it that brought out the cherry flavor in full force.

Resiny kool-aid like appearance. Floats beneath a deep lingerie-like head. Lusty pink. Dusty. Musty mohair with gallons of cherries. Undeniably exquisite aroma. Rivals the Boon Mariage 95 for certain. After the dust settles and the cherries take over a slight rust or iron appears so characteristic of Lambics in general. Not too bretty or smeary just right. Carbonation however is out of control. Terribly overcarbonated. Low marks for that. Hard to drink. This only makes my palate grimace in a bad way at the tartness. Like a knife. Flavors are not delicate. Bold cherry. Cunning sourness. Although the cherries truly dominate a slight mossyness creeps in from the cold. Excellently complements the cherries. Well done minus the carbonation overload. G-rat

Pours a peachy-pink color with a soapy, quickly disappaiting head. Looks purty! Smells sour with definite funk, kinda like vinegar soaked cardboard. Sweet cherries poke through the funk, creating an interesting perfume-ish quality. Initial taste is S-O-U-R. Wow! Kinda like eating unflavored citric acid. Damn, yo. But I like it! THe initial flavor and character is very gueuze-like. as Crosling said, a little overwhelming in the sour department at first, but grows better. After it crosses into my palate, Oak is present on top of the gueuze. Man, is this awesome. The oak and sour cherries grow more and more present as the beer warms. And, the alcohol warms my chest as well. This is agreat drink! Thanks to United Liquors in Frankfort for still having this when I stopped in. Glad this wasn’t the one I had to put back!

Pours a deep cloudy magenta with a beautiful frothy white head with a light pinkish hue. Nose is wood, all kinds of cherries and very sour. Tastes wonderful. Very complex. Very sour with a lot of tart flavors. Initially it was a little overwhelming but I got used to it quickly and definately started to enjoy it. Dark sour cherries were next and were very enjoyable. The sourness and the cherry seem to blend together perfect and create a perfect lingering finish. Wood and a subtle dryness is also present but barely.
