Crazy sour vinegar nose, smells like a stale musty barnyard with a hint of sour cherries. Pours a deep burgundy/brick red hue and makes a fizzy pink head. Flavor is vinegary, hint of sour cherries, tastes very much like a sour red wine... very tart and astringent, hint of cranberry. Light on the palate, coats the mouth very thin and finishes quite dry. Nice quality lambic, moderately complex, enjoyed this one.

Bottle, 37.5cL. Home. A sparkling dark purple beer with red garnet hues ; pink medium head ; medium retention. Fruity aroma (acid cherry), acid, wood. Light to medium lasting sour ; dry ; light to medium sweet background (just enough). Medium body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, dry sour fruity finish. Overall, delicious oude kriek, balanced, elegant...

750mL pours a bright rich ruby red with a large pinkish white head. Dry effervescent sour Cherry aroma, oak, minerals, and funk. Lively sour cherry very, sour yet not lip puckering or vinagery. Some mellowing oak and nice funk. Really tasty and easy drinking. Happy to have been seeing this around on shelves lately.

Dark ruby color with light pink red foam. The smell is anciently dignified, calm, fruity and sour. The carbonation is staggering and works perfectly well with the distinct, but appropriate sourness. The cherry flavors add up with the rest to a sour, yet almost sweetish aftertaste with a little dry tartness. Excellent beer from a lovely little brewery.
