Bottle. Best before 2022. Thanks to Santa. Poured a medium red/orange body with no head. aroma is horseblanket, light fruit. The sourness and funk were really alive but had such a short sensation on my palate. Light cherry taste. I need to try this one again.

pours a hazy pinkish amber lots of bubbles. aroma of dank sour cherries and barnyard. damn, i love kriek and their overwhelming aromas. taste is even better, more sour cherries, acid, vinegar, and yumminess. And they come in small bottles. this stuff is great.

Fairly aged sample. Cloudy redbrown coloured, pinkish head. Cherry aroma and flavour, lactic notes, very complex. Pretty sour and tart flavour, but balanced, again lactic notes and also some wood, perhaps even tannines. One the the few lambics i could finish a big bottle of just by myself. And it ages very well too. Very, very good.

Hazy dark pink with a light pink cover of largish bubbles, and a few chunks of the dregs that were at the bottom of the bottle. Head didn’t last. Potent cherry aroma with some vinegary sourness and some spicy notes. Dry and very sour with less cherry than the aroma would suggest. Very sour and a little vinegary--refreshing, but too much for my taste. Light body and medium to high carbonation with a mouth puckering sourness that you even feel in your ears.

(Bottle at St. Urho’s Pub, Helsinki, on 2009-08-19) Red and cloudy. Quite large and a moment lasting pink head. Very strongly cherries and some sourness in aroma. Medium bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Cherries, berries, sourness, sweetness, bitterness, wood, malts and fruitiness in taste. Cherries and wood in aftertaste.

A murky burgandy colour with a large light pink head. Aroma of sour cherries with a nice barnyard background. Great taste and mouthfeel; sour cherry, acidic, citrusy and astringent, light bodied, highly carbonated. I’m glad I learned to love sour in time to try this. Excellent.

Caged and corked 375ml ?Bottle Pours out gently but with a huge bright pink hea that nearly filled the flute. Deep ruby color with lots of rising sparklies. Big time tart musty aroma. Sour cherries and funky with some faint vanilla. Very dry sour flavor. Not so much of the funky Lambic yeast as the aroma suggested but balanced in that way nicely. These things attenuate so far it is hard to tell the original fruit flavor. Dusty dry and earthen. Late lingering chery flavor. Dry, tart and crisp. I love this stuff, but I think that more that 12oz or so would burn out my toungue. Good Stuff.
