Terrifically sour, horribly acidic, spicy, thin and then thick with a perfect amount of fruit. I also get a little funkiness. Wierd and wonderful. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Nose is antiseptic and funky like I want the lambics to be. Ahhhh. Pure heaven. It’s been too long since I have had a lambic. Oh how I have missed thee, my love. Mildly sour, but not overpowering. The fruit tones caress the tongue. Beautiful earthy tones. Feel is very, very smooth. Fairly full carbonation and the liquid is well bodied. Like I said. It’s been some time since I have had a lambic. Now I remember why I love them so much. (actually...I never really forgot...how could I have?) axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Poured a deep ruby red color with a small white head with what looked like cherry chunks. Funky aroma with loads of tart cherries. Flavors are very tart cherries, huge barnyard funk, and a dry oaky finish. Everything about this beer was incredible. Side note: compared 2 vintages each from different brewers. Rated older version. smith4498 (960), Miami, Florida, USA

Flavor is sour with tart cherries and lambic funkiness. Medium body with sprizy carbonation and a crisp, dry finish. Very nice. Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2003 Not a fruit beer fan, I am finally developing an appreciation for kriek. This is very, very tart; the red color is the most obvious element of the cherries. It has a definite rubber band aroma and flavor as well, curiously this is a good thing. This beer reminds me of Hanssen's Oudbeitje (brewed with strawberries I think). Adenila (958), Denmark
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 13, 2007 Beautifull red look with a bubbling pink head. Overall very refreshing and easy to enjoy. Strong cherry nose with notes of vanilla. Flavor has a balanced acidic profile that isnt too much, but still makes you enjoy the brew in small zips. I could do with more tartness, but this one is a nice kriek as an introduction to the style. jtw (944), farmington, Michigan, USA
