Aroma is only slightly cherry with losts of acid and some brett and wild bacteria. Very nice flavor- complex with lots of barnyard, mustiness, and some cherry but not enough. Finish is crisp, but very tart and moderately acidic but not nearly as much as cantillon. aracauna (2427), Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 14, 2004 Pours a fairly clear ruby body with a frothy white head that is tinged pink. The aroma is sour and very cherry with a slight medicinal character and something slightly cheesy that I keep catching occassionally. The flavor is fairly sour and the cherries come through nicely, but there’s not a whole lot backing it up except for a slightly metallic sourness. The palate is big-bubbled and soda-like. Happily that notion quickly faded and the sourness did not overload. Nice and dry with some woody notes to compliment the viny cherry. Quite good. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Terrifically sour, horribly acidic, spicy, thin and then thick with a perfect amount of fruit. I also get a little funkiness. Wierd and wonderful. JCW (1262), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

My beer is almost pink in color and is very cloudly. Very sour aroma and taste. It sort of reminds me of the aroma I might smell walking up to an apple orchard on a very hot fall day, with the bees buzzing and cider being spilt on the ground. Very interesting beer. I think I'll try another again soon! kyzr (1132), Belgrade, Montana, USA
