The nickname for this beer at my bar is "Cherry Battery Acid" - I’ve had nothing quite so tart. Still, amazing.

Pours a deep ruby red with a finger of pink foam. Bottle offers lots of sour cherry skin, tannic, musty basement. nice balance of sweet, funky and tartness. A mild underlying astringent touch keeps me from loving this but a solid kriek for sure!

Bottle shared courtesy of Kermis. 2008 Vintage. Poured a hazy reddish brown with a frothy light pink head. The aroma is big yeast citrus. The flavour is medium sour with a super smooth acid raspberry cherry citrus palate. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. A really great beer.

sample from a bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Big thanks. Vintage 2008. Barnyard funk aroma. Decent creamy pinky head. Very hazy pink pour. Not too sour. The age has improved it a lot.

Bottle - 375ml. Beautiful ruby body with a huge pink foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with cherry, citrusy, and herbal hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries cherry, malty, and oaky notes. Ends with a long, sharp sour finish. Very enjoyable Kriek.

Pours a very clear dark red color with a reddish colored head. Aroma is very big, notes of sour cherry, and vinegar. Across the palate it comes very light and carbonated finishing strong due to tartness. Flavor is nice sour cherry that finishes with a slight vinegar note at the end.
