Bank-account-breaking 12.7 oz. export bottle - Just won the lottery, so I thought I would try this out. Itís a fun journey, but when itís all said and done the flavors donít meld well for me--quite pointed and rough. Mostly sour and dry. Looks like Iím going against the grain on this one.

Bottle @ ÷÷WF2015: Aroma is loaded from cherries and lemon. A woody undertone. Taste is sour and up front lemon juice and sour apples. Thereís cherries here alright, but not as much as in the aroma. Some leather, earth and wood. Dry and semi-tart. Excellent stuff!

Sample from bottle at Oud Beersel brewery. Great to try this on site and to tour the lovely brewery. Deep red, slight haze, small pink head. Aroma is rich cherry, a touch of smoke. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is sweet with lots of the expected cherry, syrup but with a rounded earthiness and a sour finish. Itís a great beer.

Rood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zuur, droog en fris, kersensmaak is niet al te sterk aanwezig maar komt wel "natuurlijk" over.
