UPDATED: JUL 4, 2013 12.7 oz. bottle at BXL East, 2011/2012 vintage. Pours lovely reddish tinted gold with effervescent white head. Aroma of funky horseblanket sourness. Taste is sour and acidic and funky but has an incredibly smooth finish. Excellent gueze. Lovely finish. Really terrific.

Smell of apple. Cloudy amber colour, white head. Very sour. Flat carbon. Aroma of apple. Like dry apple cider.

Hazy golden yellow with lasting small white foam head, lacing a bit to glass. Bubbly a bit like champagne. Small sour beer aroma. Taste is interestung, crisp, fresh, bit sour. Some fruity notes. Short aftertaste, nice beer. (Velp 201302)

11/12 bottle. Hazy rose gold with a cm of milky head that coats the glass. Bright citric aroma - kaffir lime, grapefruit - with apricot stones, musty apples. Moderate carbonation, slightly slippery - almost moussey texture, very lovely. Light stone fruit, wheaty dank, lemons, apricot kernals leading into moderate sourness. Very nice indeed.

Multiple bottles. Pours a glowing, hazy orange. Small to medium Snow White head, not much lacing. Notes of wood, lemons, subtle barn, peach, and more mineral gueuze notes. Very nice lambic from a new blender.

Straw color beneath a frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Barnyard aroma accompanied by notes of apple cider vinegar. Dry, crisp and pleasantly sour. Some earthy mineral notes, a hint of lemony citric acid.

375 mL bottle as pictured. Pours a very hazy, floaty-fillled golden light-brown. Has a pretty subdued smell and taste. Sour with a slight pucker, but not overwhelming. Very well done. A bit of citrus and pretty dry.

Corked bottle and served in tulip: Pours a mostly clean golden hue with a great frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of vinegar, horseblanket, moldy cheese, flowers, and grassy hops. The taste is sour’d without breaking the enamel on my teeth. Lovely balance of wild yeast notes, pale malts and earthy undertones. Pound 4 pound aka cost per ounce, this could be the best Gueze on the market! Lively crisp and works with so many foods (including Chinese takeout). YUM!

Bottle->stem. Murky copper with thin white head. Aroma: strong funk, dank, tad unpleasant. Taste: bright sour, funky, with a sweet finish. Very good.
