2011-2012 version. Orange and hazy looks with nice head on top. Aroma has green apples, citrus, white wine and lots of sourness. Taste has citrus, sour green apples and some sweet fruits to balance the zest and sour elements. Medium body with high carbonation. I think this was a bit better than the draft version, with a more bold flavours. Gueuze is just so damn good.

2011-2012 bottle. Delicate and winelike. Citric. Not too sour. Sweet and nice character. I love the cloudy aftertaste, which I really cannot identify. If I?d wouldn?t know what I was drinking I?d assume this was some strange wine. But, hey, that?s a good gueuze.

375 ml bottle 2012-2013 edition. Hazy apricot with lots of head. Nose is sour with some cherry. Fizzy mouthfeel. Mild fruity esters, bitter woody notes and a sour clear finish. Nice.

Couleur doree avec un beau col mousseu blanc. Aromes de fruits jaunes et d’agrumes. Une aciditer bien balancer. Une gueuze interessante et dure a battre!

Hazy amber color with a very fizzy white head. Aroma is funky and very fruity, with pale stone fruits, pear and green apple. Taste is sour and fruity, with pear, lemon, stone fruits, cider hints, tart apple and peach. Tart aftertaste. Really nice and refreshing.

Bottle at Nuetnigenough, Brussels, 5th March 15. Aroma, sour, some barrel, citrus. Taste is great and complex, tart apple, clean and fresh, some slight barrel or wood, drinks well with fine, but lively carbonation. Really liked this

I’m not very experienced with lambics, but I enjoy trying everything. 750ml bottle pour shared with a friend. Orange color with a generous light head. Aroma is funky and musty, with some plums and armpit. Taste is quite sour, hints of fruit, granny smith apples, and more funk. Taste shifts as it warms, for this is a complex beer. I understand why many like it, but this isn’t my style.

Quite apple cider and lemony aroma. Sour, lactic ( cheesy) , acid and sour taste with tart notes. Ligth body with quite high carbonation. Aftertaste is complex with sour prominence. Despite the exceptional rating of this beer, I am afraid I do not like it so much.

Bottle at Borefts Beer Festival 2014. Pours orange-yellow with a short lasting, white head. Aroma has nice, funky, wooden, sour notes. Grassy bitterness, lemon peel, unripe grapefruit, gooseberry and vinegar. Taste is nice, dry and sour, but with lots of citrussy fruits going on. Really good stuff! Crisp body and high carbonation!
