Bottle from Steins. Pours a hazy yellow with large creamy white head. The aroma is tart fruit and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a sour fruit and funk with very sour finish. Easy to drink a very impressive gueuze.

bottle poured into a wine glass. this is becoming my favorite gueuze, the aromas of barnyard and slight way come out at first then the smell of that awesome sourness. looks like your standard gueze, solid orangish body and minimal head. taste of mild sour, not an overbearing bite which i enjoy. i dont need my jaw locked all the time. palate is nice and medium body, not too light at all. overall this is a great beer and not overly expensive and pretty easy to find in my area.

Cloud berry coloured and clear. Very sour aroma. Earthy sour taste and citrus fruit bitterness in the after taste.

Bottle from L’Antre Du Vaudree, Liege, Belgium. Aroma is a beautiful malty sweet one with a good funky Brett smell. Appearance has a great head that does not go away for a long time, an off-white colour, it is constantly replenished from the super effervescence of the gueuze. Beer a opaque golden colour. Taste is great, Brett flavours from acid and yeasty characters. i get lots of pear, malt, touch of apple, bit of funk, nice! Palate is good - tangy, bitey feel disappears quickly. Overall, a great gueuze!

Bottle at home. Light orange color, big white head disappears pretty quickly. Nice aroma of earth, tart, grape. Refreshing taste, citrus, grapefruit, tart. Medium co2. Nice and refreshing.

Misty golden body and small white head. Rich acidic aromas, champagne, farmhouse funk. Plucky sourness, fairly dry, especially on the end. Sticky fruits to go with it. Nice, but not complex. (Bottle at Kafe België)

Bottle, pours a nice pale yellow, aroma is a nice funk, flavour has a nice funk up front and finishes with a good full mouth feel with lots of citrus, definitely one of the top gueuze I have

When the majority of stuff that could be rated in the cellar (which is almost nothing!) is gueuze the choice is obvious. Apricot colour, mostly clear with a small white hugging cap. The smell is smellorific. Fucky with lemony vinegar, something that instantly reminds me of what I smell at the Yoga Loft - some soothing yet slightly pungent herbal fumes, orange oil from a freshly twisted rind, earthen dankness like the corners of an old rotting farm house. A sit gives it some borderline floralness. Very tasty and thankfully not brutally harsh... maybe another day. Drying and mouthwatering with some punishing vinegar mouth bath, medium cheese stuff, lemon, tart, dry grass, brett (I bet I’m the only one to discover this....), it is possible there is a berry touch.. possibly. My teeth feel waxy. Stomach starting to rot away as the acidity level has skyrocketed. Earthy. Very good and easy to consume.

Hazy pale amber with a thick white foam. Fruity and acidic notes. Fruits, acid and sourness. Medium body with a nice dry finish. Very balanced !
