2011-2012. A beautiful gueuze: straw color hides beneath a full finger of fluffy white head, leaving plenty of lace behind. Nose is slightly withdrawn, yet retains its funky presence. Grassy barnyard funk and citrus round things out. Lemon zest and traditionally soured lambic join forces enthusiastically. Not the most complex gueuze on the block, yet the yeast that's present is quite tasty. I need to stash a few bottles of these away for a decade or so.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is spicy, hay, horse blanket and basement. Flavor is mild sour, quite spicy, typical geuze. Smooth and drinkable. Bit boring.

750 ml bottle shared ar GRM’s. Hazy amber, no head. Strong barnyard and bitter herbals with a pleasant tart fruitiness, dry, woody, classic Lambic. Medium body with relaxed effervescence. Surprising tart fruitiness, peppery, spicy, bitter herbals, restrained barnyard funk, works for my palate; dry, tart, surprisingly bitter with nice tart fruitiness.

From a bottle at Living Social sour beer tasting DC. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Funky aroma. Tart apples with a bitter finish.

750ml Bottle as a Christmas gift (thanks Megan!). Gusher, big yellow-white foamy head on very hazy, yeasty gold body. Sweet, tart yeasty nose, fairly mild and balanced. Rather fruity for a gueze, lemon citrus, with rounding sweet-dry finish. Quite flavorful, rather mild-tart souring notes, but very tasty.

Bottle 2010. Had a few of these, but never rated. Nose of lemon and resin. Get some wood, lemon, acid juicyness in the taste. Not much in the funk area. Really nice, tart, solid Gueuze. Gonna throw a couple in cellar to see how they age.

A very good old gueuze, nice foggy body and also a massive head. Quite yeasty but still complex, pronounced with a dry finish. A good introduction to classic gueuze styles for the uninitiated.

Not on par with Cantillon or 3F but this is a solid Gueuze. More dry and less funky than those as well. Aroma is pretty solid though. Great offering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Craft Clerkenwell, thanks to Duff for the pour - 21/12/12. Light amber yellow with a thin off white head. Nose is sour, tarte fruit notes, lemon, wood, touch of smoke. Taste comprises dank musty fruits, light wood, sour and tarte fruit in abundance, lemon, citrus notes, touch of caramel, some very light smoke. Medium bodied, light spritzy feel, dry and crisp in the finish, Decent.
