More gueuze on the beach? Well...ok. Hazy orange with a big, white head and plenty of lacing. Similar nose to the Girardin black label, though perhaps just a notch less. The flavor is of authentic Belgian gueuze lambic, though perhaps more raw and aggressive than is customary. Sharp and acetic , though not quite harsh. Lots of oak. Citrus notes are there as well. Acetic finish, light burn. Overall, a really enjoyable beer.

375ml bottle. Slightly hazy gold with short white head. Aroma is basically just how I want a gueuze to smell. All kinds of microfauna buzzing around and a cheesey, earthy funk in the aroma. Tastes of apple, sharp lemon, white grape and oak. Particularly dry. Will surely improve with age but my young-ish bottle tastes like a very good example of the style.

A nice blend of tartness, sourness, citrus rind, funk, and oak. It is carefully and well-blended.

In honor of the Belgian tasting @ statelineliquors that i missed tonight. Hints of wood, tart apple notes. Some oily, resiny aromas, woodlike with a dead carbonation but still lively, somehow. Largely tart and acidic, juicy. A real eye opener. Need to do again. wow.

Bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Balanced gueuze, simply drinkable sweet and tart.

375ml bottle Best Before 10/02/2021 which I guess means February 2nd 2021. Cloudy, hazy orange, wispy head with a surprising amount of lace. Smells like rotten oranges, citrus, wheat, straight gueuze! Taste is a little rough around the edges, sour, citrus, a bit of plastic, still delicious. I probably should have waited a couple months until this had been in the bottle a year but oh well. Impressive for a a new gueuze blender and one I’ll be happy to add to my collection at any time. 2010/2011. Has become a little bit improved since the last vertion i think. More complex, a little bit sweet, but the nice geuze flavor is still there. Absolutely a top sour geuze

This brew is a cloudy golden color with a medium fizzy white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of barnyard funk and yeast. Medium body with flavors of funky fruit, malt and yeast. The finish is tart with an apple and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
