(bottle) pours a murky ruby-amber-brown colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of lemons, mouldy cellars, banana skins, cashew nuts and custard, plum presence is very minimal. flavour is heavy vanilla and lemons, slightly medicinal and oaky, a bit one-dimensional. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

750mL bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, pours a cloudy orange amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of plums upfront, and a little citrus zest. Flavour is fairly tart, with loads of sour plums dominating the flavour profile. There is a bit of funk, and some biscuity notes buried underneath. The plums are pretty front and centre, with a moderate lingering tartness. Great stuff.

Pours muddy amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is mild, tart, apple, fruits, plums. Medium carbonation, dry and kinda oily mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, plums, citric, oranges. Quite elegant and very sour. Long, lingering tartness.

Sample from a bottle @ ZBF 2013 Sour nose, hint of plums (but not as much as I expected), vegetables (celery?) Orange with a pink / purple shine, cloudy. No head and a bit sparkling. Sour, rubber / aceton, sourness is less than expected and somewhere something sweet. Fresh acid, fizzy, short bitter and sour finish.

Tasted from the bottle, in Antwerp, 29/04/2013. Pours muddy dark orange, with a tiny off-white head. Aroma mild, plums, tart berries, slightly bretty/funky. Taste is quite sour, but not punchy, with notes of grapefruits, surely plums, bretty barnyard in the end. Aftertaste has a noticeable acidic tang. Recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
