UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Zythos Bierfestival 2012, Leuven, Belgium. Big thanks to Sebletitje for this. Sebastian ROCKS IT as usual. It pours opaque looking copper with loose tan head. The aroma offers up faint musty prunes and modest sour and tart notes moving toward some woody notes. The taste begins tart and moves into sour notes nuanced by vinegar and fruit skin like tannins. It then heads into a dry finish thinly ringed around the edges by a light sense of some sort of vague fruitiness. Could use a bit more prune influence in the taste. Good stuff nonetheless. Can’t wait to try one with a bit more cellar time. Lovely brew. I’m really enjoying this brewery.

Bottle @ RBGB III. Pours purple with a small white, disappearing head. Nose of plum, cranberry and cherries. Very acidic taste, nice plum-lemon taste. I absolutely love this.

375ml bottle pours a hazy orange color with a 2 finger white bubbly head that dissipates quickly leaving very little lacing. Aroma is plums and lemon with hints of yeast. Taste is a tart fruit and sour lemon with a light hop and very dry lingering finish. Light to medium bodied with generous carbonation. A nicely done lambic that is definitely for those who like a tart and sour brew.

Bottle 750ml 2013-2014 vintage. Pours a salmon pink with small head. Highly aromatic with plums, flowers, light farmhouse and yogurt. Taste is very sour: lactic and citric. Plums are well represented and I also get grapefruit and bitter citrus peel. Light bodied and dry. Very good lambic fruit.

Flaska på Beer Ditch. Smak och doft av plommon, röda bär, peppar, jäst med toner av citrus. Vinös, torr, viss syrlighet. Frisk med fin beska.

Opaque, dark orange, minimal tan head quickly disappearing, aromas of yeast, plums, peach. Medium sourness. Nice sweetness. I am not a fan of gueuze and lambic but it is a very well-crafted beer.

9/7/2014. 2013/2014 batch. 12.7 oz corked and caged bottle. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Funky, fruity aromas with apricots, plums and hints of spices. Tart and dry, malty flavors, fruit showing well, perfect balance and a long sour finish.

Bottle from Cave la Bulles in Paris. Poured in my hotel room in Bruges. Pours murky orange color with a small white head that recedes quickly. Big time aroma of apricots, sweet plums I guess, and lots of funk here, wheat malt, tartness. Flavor follows with a sweet punch of apricot and plum, sourness, sweet wheaty malts, juicy, not as dry as expected. Finish is long and puckering with some oaky dryness, medium bodied with medium plus carbonation. Very nice but I think I liked the Gueuze better. Perhaps this would dry out if I let it sit for a while.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Hazy dark golden with a minimal head. Tart with apples, hay, funk and fruit. Nicely sour and refreshing. A tasty one.

Pours murky apricot with no head. Aroma of green grapes, fresh apples, hay and grass, bretta, elderflower. Taste is balanced fruity bretta tart followed by light sweet before a lightly tart finish. Light, crisp body with average carbonation.

@ Eddan 14-8-30: riktig trevlig doft med tydlig fruktighet. Lite mer standard smak av vindruvor. Fin syrlighet. Trevlig balans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!
