Bottle with a best before of 29/01/2023. Pours with very low carbonation, no real head formation. Deep strawberry hued body with medium-low clarity. Aromas are of plums, jammy, medium vinous, wet wood, rhubarb pie, mild brett, earthy, musty. Very fruit forward, mild skin tannins. Flavors are very tannic, huge jammy fruit, plum, light baby food. Acidity is medium and about as strong as the tannins. Medium funk, wet hay. Juicy. Low carbonation. Mild cheesiness. Lots of tannin, thicker body for a lambic. Could use quite a bit more carbonation to help with brightness and carbonic acid. Good, but I’d take the gueuze over this any day of the week.

pours murky golden, kind of dirty - not the bottom of bottle, with a nice purplish head, showing some retention and lacing. nice funk in there - peppery and leathery bretts, other bugs, subtle fruitiness - apricots and some other small yellow and red fruits - not quite discernable prunes, some ’’sour’’ candies, woodsy astringent, very nice and complex acidity - citric, lactic and gently acetic, lime and lemon, lively yet gentle carbonation, light body, very dry, grassy and lightly astringent finish. very good!

375ml bottle - Pours cloudy pinkish amber with a thin ring of off-white head. Nose is lightly fruity Smarties, lemon tartness, a bit of hay and funk. Taste is a sour, lemony blast, with some dark fruit peeking through on the finish. Must be the plum. Vinegary and puckering, with a bit of basement funk and cheese. Slick and medium-thin body, with biting carbonation. Refreshing and really tasty.

375 ml bottle. Pours a murky, pale reddish amber colour with a very small off-white head. Pungent aroma has notes of horse blanket, brettanomyces, sour grapefruit and alcohol. Sweet flavour of fruit with notes of grapefruit, lemon, yeast and a dry, sour, acidic finish.

Saurer Antrunk mit angenehmen Fruchtnoten. Intensiv, die Säure nimmt mit der Zeit leicht ab. Runde Fruchtnoten, vergleichsweise mild, gut! 12/12/12/12/10/12

Bottle. Cloudy orange pour, with an off white head. Funky, quite sour, leather, hay, yeast, light fruit, notes of plum in the background, and some lemon. Nice lambic, but not the best.

Pour a hazy plum like color.. say whaaay... with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of fruits, with plums, plum skin, hay. Pretty geueze like, but has plenty of delicious fruit to it. The taste is pretty tart, pretty sour, with quite some fruity sweetness to it. Medium bodied, with a lively carbonation. Thanks to HopRider for sharing this treat.

12.7 cork and cage. Peach color. It’s pretty damn sour. There is a touch of juicy ripe fruit. Quite enjoyable.
