Cask at GBBF Golden, bit of hay on aroma, not that great and undistinguished. Not enough hops or malts, even a bit stale

From A Bottle.Pale orange in colour with a medium head, aroma is of hops and grapefruit, taste is fruity and floral with a bitter citric finish,a good fresh session.

Gravity Cask, Chelmsford Beer Festival Blonde Ale. Mouldy and complex citric aroma with lychees and green chilli. Very nice. Soft, subdued body with an earthy finish. Good aroma, shame about the beer.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2003
Some floral hops, with a definite lychee nose and perhaps flavour. The aroma is ok, but it all ends there. A reall "green" flavour comes through, silktork figured it out to be green chillies. Whatever the hell it was, it made this beer that little bit less bearable (Cask- ChelmsfordBF 03')

Nuffield (3668) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 16, 2003
This beer has won awards at some prestigious regional beer festivals (e.g., Peterborough) in the bitter and best bitter categories, but I don't know what the rave is about. Everything here is in the aroma. At first, there is coffee, wood, chalk, and hop aroma, as well as black pepper and a green chili aroma--a dumbed down chili beer. Luminescent yellow. Dry, and the flavor is much more mild. (gravity pour, 2003 Chelmsford Beer Festival)
