COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Sutter Buttes are the worlds smallest mountain range. These eroded volcanic lava domes rise as buttes above the flat plains of the California central valley. The rusted orange glow of the horizon provides the backdrop for our brewery in Placer County. This red ale toasts these peaks with a perfected balance of caramel and toasted malts.

Pours a finger of head on a dark straw with reddish hue. The aroma is mild lemon... a little disappointing. The taste has big hops, lemon bitterness with a nice malt background to hold it up. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A nice hoppy red ale.

Gorgeous red amber colored this beer has an aroma of toasted almonds. It has a strong full bodied taste which lingers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
