I taste nothing but capiscum in a tepid so-called wheat beer base. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia

I also like curry, but not with a creme brulee topping. I enjoy creme brulee, but not with sate sauce instead of caramel. Point is? Clearly. This does not work. You can detect the chili aroma in this thin orangey slop, but the taste is just not there. The flavour is pretty much like sucking on a rusty nail (not the cocktail) and drinking water at the same time. Outback are a commercial homebrew joint, with all the faults that most of my old homebrew mates used to commit. Australia, I don't know if we can proudly say that we have a Cave Creek chili beer, but at least we can say that this one is up the creek without a paddle. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Dull hazy orange appearance, with zero head, fizzy mouthfeel, sweet, acidic, but in a really rank way. Really thin mouthfeel, and hardly any chilli flavour detected. Really offensive POR and rusted tin flavour. Geez this is bad. Betty (234), Walgett, NSW, Australia

It sux bad. There is not even much chilli and the beer, like all his others (I asked him straight up), is based on malt extract syrup so it tastes like prehopped can kit homebrew. Luckily there was also some Duvel at the tasting and I was able to wash the "flavour" of this away with something decent. This beer is described sufficiently by: "poo". motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic
