COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in honor of Francis Rogallo, an Outer Banks local and inventor of the flexible wing (the patent was sold to NASA in 1957 and the design later evolved into the modern hang glider). The beer is a light & lofty, pale golden spring ale full of complexities from Belgian Trappist yeast. (4.5%abv.)

On tap at brewpub. Poured a dark golden color with a thick white head. Aromas are lightly sweet with caramel, toast and some grassy hops. The mild flavors follow the nose with a slight sweetness, nothing that is very pronounced. Slight bitterness in finnish.

Perfect summer beer, not like the typical heffe, it has exuberant flavors with subtle spices and full body. I really enjoyed this!
