Draft at their brewpub. Hazy golden yellow color with very thin white head. Aroma of lemongrass, heat, banana and coriander. Light wheat taste with huge lemon sweetness and light spices. A little heavy for the style but not bad. Would drink again.

Pours golden with a very thick and long-lasting head. They are not kidding about that "smack" of lemongrass. There are HUGE notes of that wheaty citrus (i.e., the lemongrass) in both the smell and taste. Very easy to drink and very crisp.

Poured on tap at the brewery. Color is a hazy pale golden yellow. Average head and retention. Aromas of lemon, orange, coriander, and some banana. Flavors follow with banana, coriander, and the typical esters of this style, but the lemongrass adds a nice balancing flavor. Very refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased this at the Co-Op in Fairfax VA for about $5. Poured into a Riedel Brandy Snifter.
A - Not much of a head was shown on a fairly vigorous pour. Itís a wheat beer for sure, Nice and hazy but more tan than most wheat beers.
S - TONS of citrus, some minor hops but itís like a sour wheat beer. Basically, just as the name suggests.
T - This beer has sort of an identity crisis. It tastes like a lemon candy youíd give to a child with a subtle wheat character. Itís like lemonheads candy so a bit too sour / sweet for my tastes. I
M - Nice solid carbonation but swishing it around only brings forward more syrup notes.
O - tís a solid beer but not something Iíd buy again.

On tap at brewpub. Poured a cloudy bright golden yellow color with a medium frothy white head. Big lemon and wheat aroma. Taste dominated by the lemongrass, mildly sweet with a slight floral bitterness in the finnish. Mouthfeel is crisp, with a medium body and sharp carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is lots of lemons, light malt sweetness and floral hop. Taste is lots of lemon, light bready malts, light tartness. Refreshing, but wouldnít want more than one, the lemongrass is a bit over the top.

Bottle from Bruisiní. Holy lemongrass! This pours a very cloudy yellow with a giant fizzy head that slowly fades away. Tons of lemongrass in the aroma and the flavor. There is a bit of yeast and rough wheaty notes somewhere beneath the hugely potent lemongrass. This is kind of like drinking a lozenge. Dial it back a few notches and this might be refreshing. . .drinkable at least.
