A zesty golden hefeweizen infused with a potent smack of Lemongrass. The flavor is crisp, tart and refreshing; just the call for these dog days of summer!

Cloudy, pale yellow. Smells like, well, lemongrass. Familiar wheat "wang", and them some lemon flavors. Kinda artifical wheat flavors, actually. Biting, dry finish. A lot good, but quite a bit of bad, as well. Interesting, but ultimately canít recommend. Sampled at 2004 Asheville Brewgrass Festival.

heavy in the mouth, feels like you are drinking a lemon wheat flavored Jamba Juice, my girlfriend loved it, i thought it had too much lemon to it

This is a different beer but, I really like it. Nice refreshing lemon, grassy, and wheat flavor. Finishes clean and crisp.

Fully hazy yellow; little white head. Nose with banana, clove, bubblegum, plus something perfumey - but lemongrass? Taste is very soapy, banana but with an unbelievable rosewater-scented, soupy finish, including the mouthfeel which is over-velvety, like balm. LemonBALM 'stead -grass, maybe? Exotic. Interesting. Last time.

GABF 2002: Pale cloudy yellow. Strong soapy perfumy herbal scent. Weird. Strong perfumy herbal flavor. Light creamy body.

A pale, cloudy yellow that walks the line between hefe and witbier, but decidedly lacking in the head department. The aroma has pronounced citrus notes mixed in with the typical wheat beer smells. The palate is about standard for a hefe. The flavor is extremely similar to a mild hefe with a twist of lemon. Not a bad little brew, probably ideal in the summer.

The appearance isnít great. It is nice and cloudy, but lacks that glow of a good hefe and the headís definitely lackluster for the style. Interesting mesh of hefe esters and grassiness. Good lemon character. I dig it.
