COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Adam Balls’ first contribution to our ever changing lineup of brews. Nicely balanced with a tilt toward the maltier side, brewed with Maris Otter, a hair of Roast Barley, and a whisker of Peat Smoked malt, and then gently hopped with Fuggles. (6.8% abv.)

On tap at OBBS. Dark reddish brown color with a small light beige head. Caramel aroma with some serious peatiness to it. Sweet caramel malt forms the base flavor with some dark fruit notes. Very peaty and a bit smoky. Medium-plus body, slightly syrupy but not too much so. Average scotch ale, maybe a touch above.

Draft. Medium beige head, hazy garnet body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, light roast, cherry, peat. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some cola, light cherry, peat. Medium body, some stickiness, low carbonation.
