Dark brown colo, thick creamy head & thick lacing. Flavor is quite roasty with stong notes of chocolate. Slightly bitter and dry finish. Body is very silky and smooth.

Jun 10, 2007 Growler, from brewpub. Nice aroma. Little fruity, grapefruit, little bready. Some chocolate about it. When cold the fruitiness seemed stronger that faded. Clean dark orangy brown color, Good head and lacing. Bitter sweet flavor. Fruitiness still shows up, has a bitter chocolate streak. Medium body, smoooth lite creamy mouthfeel, bitter dryish finish. I like it really like the aroma when cold, lost it as warmed. Classic to style though the Centennial gives it a little extra punch. Nice session brew.
