Draught at Bungalow. Ligt copper with small off-white head. Buttery aroma with some hops behind it. Butter biscuit flavor with dry pine hop finish.

Tap at Craft Beer Server Land. Amber colour, off-white bubbly head. Aroma is lightly spicy, citrus, lots of malt, bit sweet. Taste is pretty good. Biscuity malt, nice lemon citrus, that UK thing I seem to find in their beers but this time it works for me. Maybe my favourite of their beers so far.

My Bottom Line:
This generic Pale Ale’s light butterscotch-like sugars tag along orange-y hops and faint biscuit suggestions.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam tops the misty copper.
-Hop aromatics were deficient.
-The tiny bubbles and lean body make this very drinkable, but ultimately forgettable.
-Every mediocre brewpub in America has a Pale Ale like this. A brew-by-numbers example.
-It’s hard to believe this is from Niwa-san. By far the least creative brew I’ve had from him, ever.

Draught at Bungalow, Kyoto. Clear amber - white head. Light buttery. Some fat notes. Fruity hoppy. Not that hoppy. Toasted malts. Chocolate. Cocoa.

Draught at Qbrick. Rich, buttery malt nose. Dark straw color. Nice Bass-like initial / solid malty mid / finish is a bit harsh. Diacetyl kind of gets in the way. Thin-medium body. Good enough, but they should work on the diacetyl thing.

Aroma: buttery (diacetyl), some malt and hop.
Flavor: buttery, slightly sour, bitter,
Comment: good carbonation. Has potential. When served cold it was better; as it warmed the diacetyl flavors became more prominent. According to KL, if they leave it on the yeast longer before legging it, the diacetyl character will go away.

Draught at Tadg’s. Comes across as a little brother of the IPA. SImilar malt character, caramel-toffee, but here it is way ramped down. Grassy hops, light citrus, very dry and clean. Extremely drinkable and refreshing with a very dry, slightly bitter finish.
