Kauge (755) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 21, 2015
Tap at Luppolo 12 in Rome. Translucent, slightly coppery amber with a big light-light beige, thickly lacing and well retaining head. Super fresh tropical fruits, jam and marmalade, resin on the nose. Tastes full and balanced, not at all veering towards too bitter or too sweet. Fulfilling, thick, marmalady in the midpoint, strong resiny bitter and slightly alcoholic in the finish. Medium body, thin crisp carbonation. Gets a bit too flat too soon but otherwise very-very nice. Wouldn’t guess it to be a whopping 9.3% - more like 7-8.

Bottle at Chris and Ruth’s place in London. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy floral aroma, fruity, grapes, some caramel. Hoppy citrus flavor, grassy, hay, floral, caramel, some grapes.

harrisoni (15314) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2015
Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Russet hazy colour lasting beige head. Slightly over the top herbal aroma, getting on the way too being just too intense and a little on the Radox shower gel side. So not a great aroma. Biggish sweetish in the mouth. Then harsh hops on the finish. Bits of it are good but there is that pine fresh edge that is just too much for me. I don’t hate it, but that pine fresh flavour is just overpowering.

TEJA (1741) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2015
Sampled at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. No head. Light clowdy golden color. Marvelous complex hop aroma ( simco and ammarillo). Balanced sweet caramell and big hop taste and bitternes is balanced very well by a big body.

bottled, big thanks to mowbeer for lugging this back from rome. pale golden with a light haze and modest head; aroma of tropical fruits, mango with some lemon confectionery; modest bitterness, not as assertive as expected, grapefruit and pine; steady

Hamirubi (324) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - MAY 28, 2015
25cl bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels (Belgium). Brown, orange, gloomy coloured brew in a lovely glass. This dark amber beer is passion fruit and candy flavoured - a promising sweetness, without artificial scents. The hoppy nose is rather unpleasant: Dirt, dust, hay. The mouth is odd: Vanilla, cream taste, with some sour accents. Not my taste, for sure. The finish however is nice enough, and long. A weird, strangely balanced imperial IPA from Italy!

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
SkillsFactory (194) - ITALY - MAY 23, 2015
Corpo medio-leggero, mediamente carbonata. Piacevole e "digestiva".
