Bottle (shared at hannont’s house)... Poured pale, hazy amber with a mild forming head. Intense yuzu and tropical fruit aroma. Tart, acidic, but not too intense with the sourness. Light fruits, stone fruit, citrus and tropical characters with a nice, refreshing sourness in the end. Highly drinkable.

Bottle shared by Travlr. Pours lightly hazy gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is lemon, yuzu and vinous, black walnut notes, wheat malt and earthy hops. Flavor is lactic yuzu, light spices and hops, light bitterness with pithy citrus, light malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Nice integration of yuzu and lambic bretta here. A cool Japanese experiment that came up very drinkable. Citrus and plum with grapefruit bretta. Bottle thanks to Travlr.

Huge thanks to Charles for sharing! Turbid orange pour with minimal head. Nose and flavor bring gigantic, authentic, mouth-watering yuzu character, hints of peach sweetness and odd traces of baking spice, bits of wooden and earthen funk. Gorgeous fruit character, but one-dimensional. I like it a lot, but as a lambic the depth just isn’t there.

Bottle from Au Nom de la Bière, Brussels
Hazy blond color with small head. Fantastic, deep aroma of yuzu, and in the background some lambic funkiness; impression of basil-pineapple icecream. Low carbonation, semi-dry mouthfeel; delicate lemon peel and yuzu flavor, not very funky, but extremely enjoyable; moderate acidity.
The flavor is not complex as the best Lambics, but the yuzu is phenomenal.

Bottled at Brewers in GBG. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Smells and tastes smoky, citrus, very sour, a bit hay and green apples with a similar finish.

[ As OWA Yuzu Lambic ].
Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy lemon - yuzu, barnyard - manure notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, lime, peel, zest, lemon - yuzu. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20140405]

Bottle, bought @De Hopduvel, Gent. Pours light hazy golden yellow with no real head. Aroma has lots of lemon zest, a tad of vinegar, a touch of strawberry. Low carbonation, oily and quite dry mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of lemon, lemongrass, zesty, tart fruity, quite dry finish.

375mL bottle, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a small white head. Nose is extremely citric and pithy, with loads of citrus zest to the point of mouth shrinking. Flavour is extremely lemony, with loads of mouth shrinking citric acid, lemon and pithiness. Doesn’t really taste like a lambic. Just really citric, acidic and pithy. Not to my taste - too acidic and citric.
