Bottle. A clear, dark amber to brown bee with a small, beige head. Roasted, almost cola-ish nose with some woody notes and chocolate. Dry, medium to full body, with cola, roasted malts and a touch of chocolate. Lasting, roasted and bitter finish. Overall, quite decent, certainly better than I expected, still not a classic. 110819

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours unclear amber with a small off white head. Cocoa powder. Sweet and thin. Artificial. Nasty . .

Some stouts are good, some lack taste. This doesn’t lack it, but the taste is crap.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2011 Das Bier ist lichtundurchlässig im Glas und riehct malzig süßlich, ganz leicht an Krieks erinnernd. Der Antrunk gestaltet sich kaum süßlich, dafür umso mehr malzig und auch hopfig. Zum Nachgeschmack hin flacht das Ganze ab, ein leichter Malzgeschmack bleibt, dennoch wirkt das Bier im Nachgeschmack wässrig. Im Grunde eine solide Sache, auch wenn das Bier nicht sehr Charakterstark auftritt. Test vom 19.11.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,10,9,8,7,9 - 9,20

Pours black brown with a rich brown head leaving plenty of lacing. Aroma is sour dought rye bread, oddly sour like old skunky gym socks, malty and sweet. Sour sweet mouthfeel. Flavor is sour, fruity, very sweet, roasted. Sour sweet medium palate. Finishes tart sweet and roasted.

Bottle. Pours a dark Brown color with a small off-white head. Fruity malty caramel aroma. Sweetish fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a small offwhite head. Aroma is malt, caramel. Flavor is sourish, caramel and malt. Medium carbonation. Weird beer.

Flaske 33 cl. Brunt til sort hælde med et rødelig skær. Cremet off-White hoved for det meste hurtigt faldende. Aroma og smag virker parfumeret på en underlig måde. Smagen er disideret sur, hvilket fortsætter i afslutningen.
