Bottle sample. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma has tart fruits, citrus, some tropical notes, grass, oak, and some funk. The flavor is dry grassy, oak, citrus, apples, funk with a mild tart character and some acidity. Interesting mix of flavors.

Swingtop bottle thanks to lukaduke. It was for our agreed IP trade. Many thanks! Reads "Batch # 6" on the side. Luke had told me this had been aged in both bourbon, and blueberry wine barrels. Awesome! I can definitely taste a vague blueberry character by finish. It pours a sandy light orange with a soapy whitish head, two fingers in length. Aromas of lavender, pickled pears, Italian sweet pepper, refined sugar, tin, algae, lactic acid, artichokes, limeade, and wood. Tastes delightfully tarted, earthy, and bittersweet... much like a gueze. Has an interesting seawater bite by swallow, accompanied with dandelions and grape must. As many have mentioned, this has a dry texture. I liked this this.

Tasted at a cheese and beer pairing event at at Meridian Pint in Columbia Heights, Washington, DC. Clear, yellow-gold with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of pineapple, yeast, melon, citrus, caramel and grass. Taste of pine, funk, citrus, caramel, grass, pineapple and tart candied fruit. Medium/light body and low/medium carbonation with a slightly astringent mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Initial bottle at Three Penny Taproom. Huge thanks to Lukaduke for also sharing a bottle later that evening. Pours a clear golden color with very nice carbonation and a good eggshell head. Sticky lacing. The nose carries a distinct saison profile underneath a bit of acidity and a good dose of funk. The flavor brings the acidity more to the front. This immediately reminded me of some of the De La Senne saisons blended with lambic. Fairly similar to some batches of Saison Vautour as well. Hay, lemon, straw, faint grain, and earthy funk all blend incredibly well with the backing acidity. Body is light and very crisp. Smooth lactic finish. Very inviting. An excellent beer.

Bottle provide by Todd, thanks for landing a bottle of this man! Pours a cloudy light tangerine in color with a fingers worth of tight white head. Nose is incredibly juicy, it reminds me a lot of seizoen Bretta from Logsdon. There is a lot of citrus, orange, and saison yeast. Flavor is exceptionally bright citrus with a light floral backing. Some orange zest and lemon in there as well. Light mouthfeel, good carbonation, light a idiot, dry, and a moderate to long finish. Wow, heard Oxbow was making some nice beers, but I’m incredibly impressed by this beer. I am going to search out more of their beer immediately.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, small whote head. Aroma of rich banilla, citrus, light tannins. Taste is vanilla and lemon on a solid combo, with a bit of spice and wood. Amazing.

Bottle in Vail, shared with Jetson for Christmas. Thanks to lukaduke! Fucking gusher. Pours a hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Juicy orange, mango, grapefruity, pineapple, a bit grassy, slightly oaky aroma. Tart tropical fruity, quite pineapple bretty, oaky, fairly sour, vanilla flavor with a tangy, quite sour finish. Pretty tasty.

Sample from a bottle. Nice oaky tart nose. Good hazy pale yellow / orange color. Little white head. Really nice tart taste. Medium body, very dry texture. Not too strong carbonation. Solid sour
