Initial bottle at Three Penny Taproom. Huge thanks to Lukaduke for also sharing a bottle later that evening. Pours a clear golden color with very nice carbonation and a good eggshell head. Sticky lacing. The nose carries a distinct saison profile underneath a bit of acidity and a good dose of funk. The flavor brings the acidity more to the front. This immediately reminded me of some of the De La Senne saisons blended with lambic. Fairly similar to some batches of Saison Vautour as well. Hay, lemon, straw, faint grain, and earthy funk all blend incredibly well with the backing acidity. Body is light and very crisp. Smooth lactic finish. Very inviting. An excellent beer.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light malts, hints of tartness, some light fruity notes, and some notes of oak. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A decent beer but not as good as some of the other Oxbow beers.

Bottle, thanks to my Uncle Gaines for sharing this with me. Pours a lightly hazy straw with a medium sized white head that lasts. Nose is funky, light hops, but more funky than hoppy, very akin to Green Flash Rayon Vert or Stillwater Premium with some age. Light oak, lots of brett. Really enjoyable and easy drinking. Even my parents loved it and they dont ususally like the funk.

Bottle (750 ml). From cparles, thanks Chris! Hazy bright golden/orange with a small mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is of white wine, leathery brettanomyces, light caramel, farmhouse yeast and a very light buttery presence. Taste is mostly of brettanomyces and white wine along lemoney notes, some residual sugar, light caramel and yeasty notes. Light to medium body. Lively carbonation at first that quickly become a moderate carbonation. Winey mouthfeel. Dry, leathery finish. Tasty, refreshing and drinkable. Good balance. Nice pimped Belgian Ale!

Poured from a bottle shared by the cinci crew. Pours a semi-hazy gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is that signature brett, earthy dryness on the verge of tartness. Taste is just barely tart with an earthy sweetness and bitterness. Dry finish. Really a good beer.

Pour from bottle at What the Funk!? 2014. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow-orange pour with a frothy white head and good lacing. Beautifully bretty, slightly funky, grassy, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, light oak, and spice in the aroma. Taste is fresh orange juice, lemon peel, orange, heavy wood, brett, and papaya with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. I could chug this shit.
