This is fantastic. The normal farmhouse pale while also quite good, serves as a prefect stock for this barrel aged stunner. Drink for balanced sour flavor and intriguing aroma, or just drink.

Damn this is good. A big thanks to justdrinkit for bringing this back for me from the brewery. Pours a cloudy light apricot/gold pour. Nice fluffy white head. Flavors of hops, funk, wet hay, toothpick, tart roasted lemons. Leather, and barnyard funk. Damn straight.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2014 My Bottom Line:
Coniferous brettanomyces builds floral and citrusy fireworks which can be witnessed while being hypnotized by an underlying oily, vanilla-rich oak.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam settles atop the cloudy blond.
-The big, natural bubbles remain soft on the palate.
-The flavor profile is also peppery at times.
-The rusticity in this one is ably balanced with the oak. Both are nicely aromatic.

Bottle at Torst. Pours gold with white head. Nose and taste of oak, Brett, Meyer lemon, funk, hay and citrus. Dry finish. Medium body.

750ml First bottle release from Oxbow ! Its alive... slight gusher after popping the cap so have a glass handy. Pours a deep golden color with a gaseous two finger head that laces out quickly. Bright aromas of straw, citrus with a touch of oak and peachy bubblegum notes. Great carbonation with some trails of bubbles rising through the glass. This beer is very well balanced and as a result extremely quaffable ! Zesty flavors of lemon peel and lime mixed with a dash of pepper on one end, then funky oak notes on the other... both sides merge together perfectly to create a beer that for me is near perfection with a nice finish of bitterness as well as acidity !

11/14/12. 750mL bottle thanks to Lukaduke - thanks, man! After popping the cap, the foam slowly starts to rise to the top - but we had glasses handy. Hazy golden pour with a big off-white head that cuts but laces plenty. Nice funky, lightly tart aroma with plenty of lemon and a bit of wood. Really nice flavor with more funky tartness, lemon, citrus, funk, yeast, a bit of wood, and touches of pale malts and grass. Tasty and drinkable - I would drink the shit out of this if it were near me and cheap. I shared this with a few other people and they agreed it was tasty and they were going to seek out other beers from this brewery. Thanks, Luke!

Poured from a bottle shared by the cinci crew. Pours a semi-hazy gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is that signature brett, earthy dryness on the verge of tartness. Taste is just barely tart with an earthy sweetness and bitterness. Dry finish. Really a good beer.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, small whote head. Aroma of rich banilla, citrus, light tannins. Taste is vanilla and lemon on a solid combo, with a bit of spice and wood. Amazing.

Bottle provide by Todd, thanks for landing a bottle of this man! Pours a cloudy light tangerine in color with a fingers worth of tight white head. Nose is incredibly juicy, it reminds me a lot of seizoen Bretta from Logsdon. There is a lot of citrus, orange, and saison yeast. Flavor is exceptionally bright citrus with a light floral backing. Some orange zest and lemon in there as well. Light mouthfeel, good carbonation, light a idiot, dry, and a moderate to long finish. Wow, heard Oxbow was making some nice beers, but I’m incredibly impressed by this beer. I am going to search out more of their beer immediately.

750 ml Bottle, Batch 8, courtesy of Lukaduke... who else? This is a fantastic beer. Pours a light golden, keeps a nice white head around the edges. Smells like a well-aged Sanctification, light fruit and big funk. Taste followed suit with lots of Brett mouth-pucker and a wave of fruit -- at different times we mentioned apple, grape, peach. A little Belgian sweetness with a great tart Brett balance. When can I get more?
