4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
11/14/12. 750mL bottle thanks to Lukaduke - thanks, man! After popping the cap, the foam slowly starts to rise to the top - but we had glasses handy. Hazy golden pour with a big off-white head that cuts but laces plenty. Nice funky, lightly tart aroma with plenty of lemon and a bit of wood. Really nice flavor with more funky tartness, lemon, citrus, funk, yeast, a bit of wood, and touches of pale malts and grass. Tasty and drinkable - I would drink the shit out of this if it were near me and cheap. I shared this with a few other people and they agreed it was tasty and they were going to seek out other beers from this brewery. Thanks, Luke!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is hazed yellowish amber with a fairly tight white head. Nose doesn’t offer much barrel, has some interesting farmhouse notes and a present lemon aroma. Taste has a hint of wood to it, a touch sweeter, lemony esters and a moderate farmhouse yeast. Medium body and a strong carbonation with lingering sweetness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour from bottle at What the Funk!? 2014. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow-orange pour with a frothy white head and good lacing. Beautifully bretty, slightly funky, grassy, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, light oak, and spice in the aroma. Taste is fresh orange juice, lemon peel, orange, heavy wood, brett, and papaya with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. I could chug this shit.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Hazy yellow ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is grainy, lemony, funky and a hint spicy. Medium-bodied with airy carbonation. The flavor delivers nice brett dryness, breadiness, moderate bitterness and light acidity. Finishes crisp, clean and fairly dry. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Randall I believe? Nice stuff, clean lemony/grassy character with hints of oak tannins, not some overbearingly sour monster or brett funk machine but just a good drinking Belgian Ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I was very impressed that it delivered on qualities of all the beer style it advertises. Belgian yeast comes through, hops of the pale ale base are there, and the slight funk of the saison/farmhouse is evident. Well done.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle shared with the boys. Aroma is pure funky bliss. Barnyard, oak barrel, slight bandaid, and some white wine. Pours straw yellow to orange with nice bubbles and a big fizzy head. Glad this was cold because a slow foam started coming out the top as soon as it was open. Potential gusher. Taste was saison bliss. Barnyard, Niagara grape, brett funk, roquefort cheese, and earthy oak. Nothing is too sweet or bitter or sour or mellow. This is the best saison I have ever had. I could drink this every day and die happy.
