COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse Pale Ale is our American interpretation of a hoppy saison. Belgian pilsner malt provides the base for an abundance of American hops and our farmhouse yeast to shine together in this refreshing ale.

21.08.2015, tap @ Kælderkold:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh, citrus peel, sour grass, soda powder, weeds, bark, mild brett, citrus, hops. Taste is slightly sour-ish harsh, weeds, sour grass, bark, citrus peel, soap, mild brett, hops. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry and slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap at Oxbow, Portland. A dense, white head forms curtains over an unclear, yellow colored body. Citrus, orange mostly, and some pale malts in the aroma. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, it’s dry and medium bodied, with oranges, citrus zest and a weak malty backdrop. Soft carbonation, and a lasting bitter, almost herbal finish. Yet another nice saison from Oxbow. 150609

Tap at Oxbow, Portland. Pours hazy lemon with a slightly orange hue. Aroma is tart lemon citrus very much in the vein of a saison even though they call it a pale ale. Flavor is light citrus, clove. Fairly standard saison. Not bad.

Pours cloudy pale yellow with low white head. Aroma of light pine hops and citrus, funk and wheat. Taste is citrus and honey up front with a funky and mildly tarty finish. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

Draft in kittery wpf..lovely hoppy saison that is a treat...this is as about as tasty it gets for the style..billed on board as American hops meets saison..lemony rind..hoppy goodness..nice and dry..I would drink this all the time if more readily available outside vacationland, the barrel aged version must be insanely good...

Poured on tap into a tulip: pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma is grass, citrus, orange zest. Taste is a little sweet initially and then citrus zest, herbs, and a little Belgian funk. Very fruity, soft body, a little oily, nice beer.
