Featuring the confidence of a West Coast IPA, the sensibility of an East Coast IPA, and the fine crushability only found in the Mid Coast of Maine. (December 2012)

Baird’s Maris Otter Floor Malted Barley and Chinook Hops unite in a beer the brewers are enjoying tremendously on tap at the brewery.

Growler from brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of foam that settles quickly. Aromas are hop forward juicy citrus and a touch of sweet stonefruit in the mix. The palate has a good dose of citrusy tangerine on the front end but bitters out the flavor early and gets pretty dank and piney from mid to late palate. A bit of burn on the finish...

I love fresh IPA’s Don’t you? Big old hop nose pine and citrus everywhere. Great bitterness in the flavor profile it tastes like biting into a hop come. Light and crisp in the mouth. I can’t say anymore than “Drink it when its fresh”
