Location: Draft at Cornerstone (Ogunquit), 7/9/13

Aroma: The nose is a nice mix of hops and brett, tropical fruit, and some pine as well
Appearance: The pours a cloudy gold-orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, an excellent mix of funky and hoppy
Palate: The body is medium, with a nice mouthfeel, and a good drinkability
Overall Impression: I thought that this one was excellent. It is basically just a well-made mixture of hops and funk, and I really enjoy the ways those two mix. It felt like something Anchorage would make, and I mean that as a total compliment.

In short: A moderately bretty-funky and fruity-hoppy ale with a bright and fresh character. Lovely.
How: Growler shared with people freezing in Vermont.
The look: Cloudy amber-orange body topped by a small off-white head.
In long: Nose is fruity-citrusy and only moderately bretty with the brett having a bright rustic character.. Medium body with soft carbonation, Attack is fruity (citrus and tropical) with the fruity flavors having a nice freshness quality. Then comes a clean bitterness leading to dry finish with the brett showing its teeth. I’m pretty much sold to brett hoppy beers when they don’t come through as dirty or rubbery and it sure wasn’t the case here. A nice treat for shared after the beer festival, and maybe I’m becoming a celebrity because when I go to a public beer festival people often recognize me, but only my friends, but not my friends I haven’t seen me for a long time because I got too fat and they don’t recognize me, still, I think I’m some kind of celebrity.

pour @ THE festival, maine. clear pale yellow with a nice white head, some retention. sweet pale malts, but a grainy character persists, there’s a nice funk and citrus plenty, almost grapefruity. bright carbonation, light body - oily and a tad sweet. not so much quenching but a nice offering that i truly enjoyed!

Poured light copper in color with a bubbly white head. Light hops, earthy, not as much "funk" as I was expecting. Long dry finish.

Lightly hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy, some floral hops, brett, vanilla, toasted malts, and light citrus. Taste of grass, pine, light resin, vanilla, toast, and a lightly wild finish.
