(Rating #5250)

FESTIVAL. Golden-yellow body, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Bright lemon, light cereals, mild yeast spice, and gentle floral hops. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, refreshing, soft finish.

Exactement mon genre de remède à une soif excessive. Des notes acidulées bien en place pour une parfaite sécheresse, juste assez dans toutes les facettes.

Crisp refreshing and nice saison. Light lemon and spices with very very mild tartness and very light hops. Easy drinking as all get up!

This beer is nice and light yet has a good flavor. The saison style is well crafted in this beer.

4 oz. served into a wine glass at ChurchKey. From notes. A: Pours a golden straw color with only a small white film for a head. It’s not quite as hazy as I like my saisons to look. S: I notice fresh apples, cherries, and some wheat. It’s nicely fruity - especially for 4% - nor is it weighed down by overdone yeastiness. So maybe the clarity in the appearance was for the best? T: Drier than the aroma suggested. A fruity opening is very brief before spicy, herbal notes dry out the middle, leading to a white grape finish. Simplistic, yet satisfying. M: It’s everything you’d expect from such a small saison: very light, dry, and easy to drink. Carbonation could be more lively, otherwise there’s nothing really to complain about here. O: Compared with some of the masterpieces I had earlier today, this one fell quite a ways short. But for what it is? It’s pretty solid. I would entertain the thought of having it again, at least.

Draft at Strangelove’s. Pours a cloudy light gold with fluffy white head and solid lacing. Nose of pepper, spice, hay, fruit. Medium to light body, average carbonation.

Another tasty Farmhouse that I enjoyed during Philly Beer Week. Not as flavorful as the Sasuga Saison, and a bit drier. Still enjoyed it though.

Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spices, wheat, grass, and toast. Taste of some toasty malts, tart wheat, lemon, spices, and a grassy bitterness in the finish.

Hazy gold pour. Sort of yeasty spicy aroma, but muted. Sharp in contrast to aroma! Quite hoppy!
