COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This wheat based farmhouse-style Christmas Ale is smooth and cloudy. Deeply kilned Belgian malts and our rustic farmhouse yeast come together to provide a bone-dry, warming richness with notes of dark fruit, wet stone, leather, and tobacco. In Season when ‘tis the Season.

Growler from brewery. Pours a deep mahogany color with a finger of eggshell foam that settles out quickly. On the nose there is a lot going on with dark fruit, cherry, plum, saltine crackers, earthy wood, touches of brown sugar and some rustic herbalness too. The palate follows the nose in complexity and the current 2012 offering is weighing in at 10.5%abv which is very well hidden.Dark woodsy flavors mingle with dark fruit, tobacco and hints of caramel on the back end...great rustic finish that lingers and bitters nicely.
