Bottle, 500ml. A copper colour with almost no head. Aroma of A hoppy aroma with sweet honey notes. Flavour is a little hoppy with roasted nuts and malt. A fairly sweet, fruity finish. Not bad.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
@ Sergioís / Louisville KY --- Clear dark amber, thin head cover, splotches of lace. Taste is fizzy malt with a touch of citrus. Light bittering enters deep in the palate, yielding to caramel malt in the finish. Quite a lot going on for 4.5abv. Does what it means to do.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma is toasted wood chippings, little fruit. Flavour is quite malty, sweetness kicks in at the end. Not really my thing but quite enjoyed it.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Iíve never been a fan of the guy. The beer made no impression of me either. Overly sweet, syrup, honey, on top of an ordinary bitter. I had it a while ago and thought Iíd rated it alredy. Screw him.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma - aroma is really nice, like a good piece of bread. It smells soft and just good.
Appearance - is a nice copper color, with a white head that stick around and then falls.
Taste - the taste is wonderful. Itís listed as a bitter, but it certainly isnít that. I docked it a point, or itíd be a 9. Itís a wonderfully malty brew, it tastes of a perfectly malted barley, perhaps some oats.
Feel - the body is medium, creamy, soft, and just an abrupt ending. Yet, itís goodness survives.
This is one of the best beers Iíve had, I am surprised by itís low rating, perhaps it is because of itís listed style. Sometimes a beer is just better than that. I really canít say enough good things.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at The Market Porter. Pours clear mahogany with a small creamy off-white head. Malt oriented aroma, inviting. Taste is weak roasted malts, nice balanced brew, with lingering sweet caramel in the finish.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear amber with a frothy, lacy, lasting off-white head. Smells of caramel and malt extract, sugar and ripe fruit. Not very appealing. Light to medium watery body with soft carbonation. Tastes sweet with a bitter processed metal edge. Maybe too bitter. Ripe-fruit, dirt, yeast. Not very enjoyable at all, I couldnít finish the bottle.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle into a nonic.
Pours a nearly clear light copper with a fairly thick one finger light tan head. Great head retention and lacing.
The aroma is slightly metallic but beyond that, there is a nice hint of toffee and caramel along with a little coffee. Dark bready malt and a slight fruityness round out the aroma. It is nice and a little different but also not very strong.
Loads of caramel in the taste along with lots of toast and coffee. The flavor packs a bit more punch than the aroma. There is a little must and earth along with some light fruit in the background. Light bitterness along with a watery mouthfeel.
Overall, a nice but pretty typical English IPA. A very sessionable beer but unremarkable at the same time.
