Leighton (18700) - London, Greater London, - FEB 10, 2013
Cask at Free Press, Cambridge. Pours clear gold with a lingering white froth. Orange citrus in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with dry pale malts, light hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly dry to finish with some citric lemon, dry hay, simple pale malts. Very basic stuff. A bit light on character, though not offensive.

Cask conditioned at The Wig & Pen, Oxford. Amber with white head. Grainy malts and quite an estery toffee bomb unfortunately, caramel, heavy on the palate. Heading towards poor.

Cask (Boathouse, Cambridge)
Sweet heavy estery, fruity, and massively grainy. Full-flavoured, but very simple session bitter.

wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2011
Cask, Rigbys, Liverpool. Darkish amber looks with a small lingering white head and some trace of lace. Subdued sweetish pear drop/citrus notes in the nose. Some fruitiness mingled with biscuity malts in the flavour, and some fairly low key bitterness. Somewhat bland and watery, but tolerable enough.

DruncanVeasey (8012) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 23, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2011 Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Settles down into a good looking brilliant bronze with a thick moussey head. Discreet jellied orange and lemon aroma. Wine gummy flavour with hints of oak-like vanilla, Hobnobs, husk, apples dusted with chalk. Dull and decent.
